Living an organic and healthy life is for everyone! working from home may not be!
You can’t just grab 10 random people off the street, and ask them to build a home business. Most of them won’t be interested, won’t have the desire, perseverance or right attitude to build a home business. (Although they may like the products).
I have tried several network marketing companies and their products, bought the tapes and books, kept the catalogue on my desk at work, nervously asked everyone I knew and attended every meeting in a hundred kilometer radius. I signed up many, but very few turned out to be business builders. I ended up losing my money and wasting my time, and not enjoying it at all. I realised that i was advocating products that did not line up with my ethos in life, and I wish I had known more about the company and it’s ethics before i started. They were the wrong companies for me.
I realised then that what i needed in my life was a company that respected our planet, our community, its members, itself and staff.
I needed a company that was driven by a healthy passion for being the bench mark and leaders, teachers and guides for the world to follow. A beacon shining brightly in the darkness, guiding everyone to safety.

At least now, with the internet more prevalent, it is much easier to research a company before you join it. And the internet can provide tools for finding people looking to start a home business, so you don’t have to nag your friends and family.
So what does it take to work from home and create your world?
- PERSEVERING: Persevering is probaby the most important ingredient for success. There will always be temporary setbacks in life. If you personally tell 10 people about a home business, expect some to knock you back. Making mistakes, getting momentarily discouraged or feeling overwhelmed, is all part of it. The secret is to not take it personally. You do have to make an effort, to do what works, to ask for support, and to never surrender.
- BELIEVE IN YOURSELF: There are many courses and ebooks being sold or given away, aiming to boost your belief in yourself. “The Secret” is a great example and tool. So is Michael Oliver’s
- They basically come down to:
“If it’s going to be, it’s up to me” and I CAN do it and I WILL do it.
You do have to believe that you can become a success. Overcome your negative feelings. Overcome obstacles. Dare to dream and imagine yourself living your dream. There are heaps of stories about people rising from incredible disadvantages into success. If they can do it, then YOU can too. But it is up to YOU. - PASSION: Passion is the fuel that will power your perseverance. Most people just say they want to make money. But money is not a healthy thing to get excited about and focus on. If instead, you picture ideas such as:
FREEDOM – to work the hours you choose
FAMILY – being able to spend more time with them
WELLNESS – having the health to enjoy your life and educating others to do the same
- powerful concepts to remind yourself WHY YOU want a successful home business. - BE TEACHABLE, WILLING TO LEARN: You may have preconceived ideas about the right way to run a business. But an extraordinarily important thing in business is to have a MENTOR. Someone who has already made the mistakes, and has a proven system for success. And YOU have to be willing and able to learn from them.
